Watergate II

When will the Republicans learn that they should probably steer clear of The Watergate Hotel? There’s some seriously bad Republican juju hovering over that place. The Watergate is the suspected site of Republican hanky panky with hookers and Rep. Bob Barr (R-GA) seems to be suggesting that this brewing scandal might be the reason for the sudden departure of CIA director Porter Goss. Interesting.

We do know that a resignation from this crowd is, more often than not, an indication of impending indictments, handcuffs and mug shots. The likelihood that Goss left because he was tired or had a better offer is slim at best.

If rumors about a pending Rove indictment in the CIA leak case are true, and this prostitution scandal breaks as well, next week could be a very bad week for the White House and a celebratory week for the rest of us. I’m putting some champagne on ice, just in case.

You got it right on Porter Goss. Did you see how grim the President loked at their photo op? There was a reason for this.

He resigned because he is about to be personally and absolutely ruined as a public figure because of his soon to be well-known involvement in the exploding Randy "Duke" Cunningham scandal.

Duke Cunnngham, now in prison serving the longest sentence ever given a sitting Congressman for corruption, apparently assisted some sleazy lobbyists and fly by night defense contractors to provide prostitutes, among other incentives, to several Congressional leaders in exchange for appropriations favors.

Goss was an important appropriations committee Congressman before his appointment as CIA Director.

Soon, Goss' name is going to be placed in the center of this vile and immense scndal, so he had to go an dgo quick befor ethe media death watch gathered outside his house.

I kept waiting to hear him say " I need to spend time with my family", always the sign of handcuffs to come ( and needing time with LAWYER...)....Porter had a nickname down on Sanibel Island ( he was mayor opf the little town and also dabbled in real estate and even ran the Local newspaper and my ohmy the stories that ran through the little island about the Parties...oh that but that was so long ago, I am sure that I am confused...Porter Douchebag Goss..."The Douche"...

People need to be much more careful about who and where the coke is snorted...

And the Watergate...hmm, of all places...I am shocked? and Duke and a Lap Dance- well well that certainly is worth chugging a whole 48oz bottle of mylanta....

maybe the Douche and Top Gun can share a cozy little cell...but then Bubba woould be heartbroken...
oh, well maybe he can have the place ready for Tommy Boy...or the Turd Blossum Rove...

I also suspect there's a lot more to this story than we know right now. Katherine Harris tookk illegal campaign contributions from the same defense contractor who bribed Duke Cunningham. Maybe Goss is implicated too.

Once again the main stream media is dancing away from this. Siting numerous other possible reasons. Republican Congressmen in a conga line with hookers and defense contractor lobbyist, just does not seem to catch the media's attention.
On the flip side, exposure of the benefits of being a Congressman, may help recruit better candidates.

Ah, "the Douche". What an appropriate nickname. Intended to cleanse, but does more harm than good.

I know I am preaching (mostly) to the choir, but the currying (sp?) of favor is whatwent wrong here from a public interest standpoint. I could give a rat's tail about the prostitution. Should be legal, anyway.

This almost make me shoot milk out of my nose: "Republican Congressmen in a conga line with hookers." Picture that for a moment.

Anyway, the more I'm reading about it, the more I feel that yes, there is a chance Rove could be indicted.

And how many times have you heard the phrase, "this has been a bad week for the Bush administration." What is 6 years times 52?

oh great- I came back after I recovered from my visual Duke Lap Dance picture and then someone wrote the GOP Congo line - I am out of mylanta now...geez..

Anyway I am encouraging people to go to Fuzzy&Blue- she has a great little post on this New Nasty as well- including that maybe there is much more to this than I realized...

inclduing perhaps a Gannon connection...hmm, you remember the Male Escort Service ? and his webistes...hmm, let's hope he took LOTS of pictures...

I'm not so sure about the scandal angle actually. though there are plenty of them to go around with the republicans.

I saw a chart in the Boston Globe showing the length og tenure for CIA heads going back like 30 years. they generally fall into 2 catagories, people who servd like 5+ years and people who served a year or so. Goss fits right in. But who knows

The republicans drawn to Watergate for some hanky panky... and you're surprised? Aren't bugs drawn to buglights? The temptation is just too great, and politicians aren't particularly known for resisting temptation...

Sticking with the bug metaphor, what we have is a chain of 'roach motels' laid
out by the apparently only
truly functional agency of the Fed Gov, the U.S Dept of Justice.
"Our business is catching roaches, and business is GOOD!"

I don't know the names of the U.S Attorneys 'running' the Abramhoff and Cunningham
investigations, but my hunch is that Patrick Fitzgerald is their inspiration and benchmark for unflagging pursuit of Rethug 'evil doers'....pardon the redundancy.

We may be able to add the SEC to the list of functional agencies if in fact they nail 'Bill, my trust was blind but Terri could see, Frist'!

Wow, how all these people must feel, "them over here."

The group of those who believed Bush when he told them he was the Second Coming, just keeps growing. Why am I not surprised.

Was it perhaps Rove who became their belief system, his mantra soaked lies about how the people in charge of America were/are the Second Coming. I can just hear his repetitious little song, rather like the ants marching . . . only it goes like this: "The Republican reign cannot be stopped because we are all immune, immune, immune, immune . . ."

Soverign immunity is what they actually believed to be their birthright.

The "Second Lady in the White House" is of course, none other than Lynn Cheney. Yes, finally our true president is stepping up to lead us out of this dark night. He is busy doing his "Swan Song," during this very merry month of May, to try and win back the neocons's faith.

When do we finally get to see the entire list of neocons who have been in charge of creating America as the death star of planet Earth?

This is what I want to see and then I can begin to believe that the United States is no longer a full fledged fake democracy being run by the now "western global elite."

I want every person's name out in the public arena for all to know just why America became the monster that she supposedly fought against: Super Imperialism.

Now, it is over for the Bush/Cheney Cabal & their side kicks of Big Oil and Mega-Multi Nationals (aka "super rich, global elite, ruling elite").

But they are dangerous and armed. It is truly frightening to think about what these desperate losers will do to keep their faux power and wealth.

We must be mindful of the fact that the ruling elite of America are now fighting amongst themselves. It appears that the people like Kissinger, et al. are taking a stand against the other Neocons (Cheney, Wolfowitz, Perle, et al). Thus, we have Cheney running around the globe insulting other countries like Russia and Bush already insulted our sin eater, the holder of more than one-half of our debt, China, while Rice fell flat on her face in attempting to intimidate Russia, China and Hugo Chavez for Christ sake. Rumsfeld is too sick of a human being to think about let alone accept as someone who represents the US.

Thus, like Custer's last stand, we have the frightening ghoul Dick out there globally representing us.

The countries and leaders who have formed the SCO, are perfectly clear about the American neocon agenda and two of its primary rulers, Dick and Lynn Cheney.

Dick Cheney is the most embarrassing US President we have ever secretly elected.

Goss, Cheney, Rove, Bush, Rumsfeld, all of them have been to the party non-stop and now they are being exposed for who and what they have always been, absolutely corrupted usurped power.

The real problem is that these insane war mongers (Cheney especially) have created problems with our entire global ecosystem that may very well be irreversible.

Forget just trying the bastards for war crimes, these lunatics must be held accountable for crimes against the entirety of humanity and this planet Earth.

Goss is the good buddy of Cheney and his old boss, the former CIA Director, George H.W. Bush.

Hopefully the true crimes which these twisted minds have committed shall be exposed. Chemical, biological, nuclear, and more heinous crimes than our healthy minds can conceive.

The Era to end for these mentally and emotionally sick is none too soon and unfortunately it could very well be not soon enough.
